I served as an assistant curator for RACINES, shaping an Afro‑centric curatorial framework, conducting research, and overseeing artist coordination, exhibition design, public programming (talks, workshops), and logistical management.

The exhibition brought together contemporary Afro‑Canadian artists across painting, photography, installation, and multimedia, and featured a tribute to filmmaker Martine Chartrand with a looped presentation of three of her films. In collaboration with AfroMusée (Montreal), a dedicated section highlighted ancestral art, creating a bridge between cultural heritage and contemporary creation.

RACINES offered a symbolic and sensory journey through forms, narratives, and timeless cultural expressions.
